Instant generation
With Tokens 2, there's zero wait time. Once you've added your apps, click the plus button to generate a promo code. While the code's being fetched from Apple's servers, share its custom tokn.co link immediately. By the time the redeemer's ready, the code will be there ready to go.
Step 1: Generate a code
If you've already been generating codes, you know the drill. Click the and select however many codes you'd like to cook up. The new table row will appear right before your eyes.
Don't see the code itself yet? Totally okay. Expected, even. That's why we're here on this feature page explaining what to do. By "table row" we mean that new entry in your codes list that you can name, view redemption status via, and copy a tokn.co link from.
Step 2: Copy the tokn.co link
While the code itself may still be on its way from Apple, you can share its tokn.co link immediately. That's what we mean by instant generation. In the table row, you'll see a button that says Copy. Click it. Or, two-finger click to learn keyboard shortcuts, preview the link, and access the share sheet directly.
Step 3: Give it away!
Share that link anywhere you'd like. Whatever lucky chap ends up with it will be able to redeem the promo code directly on their device. It's most likely that by the time they receive it, it'll be fetched from Apple and presented beautifully on the page. On the rare occasion Apple's being sluggish, the redeemer will see a note to refresh the link in a bit.
Hint: If you're giving out a Mac app code and the receiver opens the tokn.co link on iOS, they'll be prompted to beam the link over to Mac and vice versa. No worries about a Mac promo not converting well on Twitter, for example.
